It has a fairly loud tone, so I recommend you place it a bit above or below ear level :) I have been looking for beautiful sounding bells for sometime. And here at Holy Art I have found them!!! The chime is beautiful and rich. The best English translation I have found for the Latin words: Who strikes (touches) me, hears My voice.
